Do Começo ao Fim (From Beginning to End) movie (review)

Everytime I talk about a movie...I never wanna put the word "review" beside it. Why? Because I feel like I can't really professionally review movies...so here's just a "look" at a movie from a teen girl's perspective ;) 



So I just watched Do Começo ao Fim, which is Portuguese for "From Beginning to End" (it's a Brazilian movie)

Now, upfront, let me tell you...if you got a thing against gays or incest..then you should just stop now. 

This movie just combines the two "taboos" and combines them in a beautiful, harmonic movie...that just gave me soo manyy FEEEELSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :')  



Basically, it's about these two half brothers (Francisco and Thomas) who develop a very close relationship...and when they are older, it develops into a beautiful, romantic, and sexual love. 



Ever since they were kids, Francisco has been always protective of Thomas, and they have almost experienced everything together. 



And they just grow up all together basically, and then they just begin to ignite the sex ;) 



And MAN...this scene ^^^ (above) .. wow. They started to just undress...and the PIANO stuff that was playing..WOO...beautiful. just beautiful beautiful. beautiful. 

     

     


OH!. damn. and this scene ^^^...gorgeous. the way he gently woke him up...the way they talk. the way that they make their eye contact. it's just so amazinggg. I can't even...



and then right after this...this scene was gorgeousss. The shaving cream and the kissing was wayy too cutee <3 it was like 3 real good scenes right after another. DAMN. woo ;) 

[here's my personal thing: Not afraid, I'm a straight girl who loves gay porn. I think I like it even better than straight porn. And lesbian porn has never really turned me on. But gay porn...DAMN ;) ]



But yeah...this movie was amazing...I've never seen a incest gay relationship movie...but this one was great. 

I don't know anything about real love, or ever been in love...but I think that love is one of those things that comes in different forms, different ways...everyone's love story is a little bit different. And wow...this movie just proved, that if you love someone...you love them...don't give a fuck what society thinks. 

In general, yeah, this movie was about "love", obviously. And I'm not that a big fan of love stories because they seem real cheesy. But this one was different...unique and beautiful in it's own way. LOVED IT <3 soo baddd. 



Oh god..I'm so sorry. ^^^ this was way too hot to miss. LOOK AT THAT BOY ;) DAMN.

Common Law Odd Couples (review)

Yay! So I finally got to watch Common Law this morning..and I gotta admit, I think this is my second favorite episode so far (my first is the T word). 



It still definitely had the good humor in it...like the little "my little sensitive man" when...

that scene was just damn cute...and I just loved how Wes was about to correct her, but Travis interrupts and plays along <3 

-and that one time where Travis was checking out the girl that was doing yoga, and Wes pointed out that she was doing her pose wrong. haha <3 



and then the case...I loved the ending a lot though...Travis getting in trouble, Wes jumping to save him. it was a good ending...especially Wes showing...or proving, that he does have Travis's back. 


There were the little emotional moments too in the episode, and that's one reason why this episode was unique. Like Travis mentioning about his foster homes, and why he takes care of his trailer and not anything else. 


and in therapy...things got intense real fast. Wes started out kind of with a smile...just normally doing what he does...but that moment, when you saw Travis's face...it got real intense. real fast. it was definitely surprising...but at the end...it was all okay. MY BABIES......DON'T BREAKK UPPP. EVERRRR.  




But in general, the boys living under the same roof was amazing. Arguing over little things...like cleaning, the temp. in the house, stuff like that...seriously cute...to me,  that's a marriage. like old married people <3 haha

-And cute stuff along the way...the fact that Wes knows Travis's favorite food ;)

I mean, i just really liked how this time, it was just real. like, want I mean...is that not all of it was "lovey dovey". like the moments that get us fangirling and stuff...but it had arguments and real feelings (especially from Travis). So it was good to see a balance...and see that no matter what, they still make it through any weather <3 


NEXT week's episode...is I THINK of "older" detectives; meaning the older versions of Wes and Travis. 









I swear my cuties are perfecttt. They are literally the yin to each other's yang. really. 


one thing that i'm really anxious to know is Wes's childhood though. I mean, we know Travis's backstory...and now we know, why he is the way he is. But Wes. I wonder what made him the way he is. 


We need more like "deep" moments...because i want to learn more about each character...especially Wes..cause we don't know that much about him. and another reason why I want deep moments, is cause I wanna see that they truly can make it through any weather. real bad. 


OH! AND THERE ARE ONLY 3 EPISODES LEFT.

You know..stuff...

First off, before anything; prayers and thoughts go out to the people effected by the Colorado shooting. RIP to all those who are gone; and get well soon to all those who are injured. 


That's some critical news right there. So let's just take a moment. 


After that, GRRR. I missed Common Law on friday night :/ How did I miss it? We went out for a dinner/get together thing and came back around 11ish. GR. (and the one at 1 AM was a little too late. haha, I was tired)





BUT HAVE NO FEAR! The re-run of it is on Sunday Morning ... 10/9C AM. And there is no way imma miss it. I'm even gonna put an alarm on, so I make sure I wake up in time.


I heard it was a really really really good episode...one where there's a little bit of emotion, I guess. 





I already kinda spolied it for myself. I went on tumblr...and I just looked at a couple of gifs. haha couldn't resist :/ haha. But I'm trying not to go further, and patiently wait till morning. 

SOOOOO... maybe I'll do a quick review on what I thought about it too :) 


btw, "quick review" is just fancy words for "FANGIRLING AND GETTING MY EMOTIONS OUT OF TRAVIS AND WES". 


And another note, have you guys used aromatherapy? you know the lotions, oils, shampoos, conditioners, soaps...etc. designed to make you "stress less", "energized", or "sleep better"?





I mean... do they actually work? I googled it a lot...and it's kind of mixed reviews about it...but more positive than negative. 


I noticed that my mama was having a lot of stress these days, so I decided to get a bottle of the Bath and Body Works aromatherapy Stress Relief lotion. 





So yeah...online, it's 5 stars...but I'm not completely wooed by the reviews. I just kind of need a real , complete review. I'm still a little fishy on how a fragrance can change the way you think of things .. and stuff like that. 


But I really hope it works...I want my mom to feel much better, and get a little bit more "me time". If it works, I might go and get the matching shower gel stuff and mist or something.


And as for my main blog...I post more on here than on there now. Which is kinda sad. But thats okay. I've definitely lost my touch with that "world"...cause all I've been doing is staying at home in sweats, watching tv, eating, and sleeping. And i love it. haha, no I'm kidding, it gets boring. but its better than school :) haha


 


So if you like that blog more than this one...sorry. It's just that I honestly..from my heart, don't know what else to post on there...since a lot that's going on right now, has nothing to do with makeup, hair, skin care, or stuff like that.

The Amazing Spider Man

I'll be honest. I don't really know what to write about today. So I'm just gonna wing it...and just talk about a movie that I saw :) ha


- The Amazing Spider Man




Which I thought, was pretty cool. It was pretty much a reboot of the other installments, but it was still good. 


I think they did change a couple of things, including a little bit of Peter's "life". I think Peter (in the comic books and stuff) was a brainy nerd that got bullied..a lot. (I may be wrong though...it's been a while since I've picked up one of those books). But in the movie, he's pretty cool. 


Peter has a skateboard, ...and to me; it looked like everybody knew him as the school photographer.



But obviously yes, the movie still depicts the "brainy" side of him. And his main, strong subjects are science (biology). 


And then, his love interest was Emma Stone...which I freaking love her. She was amazing in Easy A; and I love how her "style"...haircut, makeup...everything...isn't completely hollywood. Like for some reason, you can tell her apart from the "usual hollywood celebrity". And she did an amazing job too (: 



At the beginning, they decided to do a prequel of Peter's "childhood"...meaning, the moments where his dad and mom left. 


It looked like to me, that someone had come into his dad's office and searched for something (maybe the "bad/evil" scientist). And right after, they decided to leave; leaving Peter with his uncle and aunt. 


And then there was Gwen's dad...who was the chief of the NYPD...or something like that. His main goal; in the beginning was arresting Spider Man.




So, one day Gwen had invited Peter to join the family dinner. Peter met Gwen's dad...and they discussed Spider Man. Her dad had said that he is a "threat"; while Peter says that he might actually be a hero.

 

They start off on the wrong foot; but throughout the movie...her dad does discover that Peter is Spiderman; and helps Peter in defeating the lizard. 


GRR. BUT. at the end. The captain is dying, bleeding intensively...when he makes Peter promise that he will stay away from Gwen; because she might be always put in danger. Peter slowly agrees...and at the end of the movie...when Gwen shows up at Peter's doorsteps, he says that he can't see her anymore. 




They continue in school as normal...trying not to make eye contact, and going each other's ways.


At the end, Peter is tardy for class.. when he says that "I promise it won't happen again". 


The teacher replies saying, "Don't keep promises that you can't keep Mr. Parker"




And he whispers, "But those are the best kind"

and after that, Gwen; who is sitting right in front of Peter, gives a nice smirk. MAYBE ...signaling a sequel. 


But we're not done yet. At the very very end, the post credits scene, it shows the "evil" scientist in jail confronted by a man in the shadows. Check this out:

But it indicates who could be the villain for the sequel. Seriously wonder who it could be...


And as much as I love mystery and actiony movies...romance is essential to give me butterflies while I'm watching the movie sometimes. 


But there are many scenes when Peter and Gwen get together .. i guess ..(god, I'm so awkward when it comes to romance)









And as much as I love "sex" scenes (fuck it...we all know we like hot, steamy scenes)...the first couple of pictures...when peter and gwen were kind of intimate...I was kinda surprised they didn't even kind of get it started. like no teasing, or even kissing.




and in a way, I loved that. I feel like Gwen was strong that moment...didn't really wanna start something...but man, if I were her...I would...my lord..haha. But they actually ended up talking about real things, and actually catching the lizard. real stuff. real talk. real love <3 niceeely done. 


Overall, it was a good movie. It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since the last spiderman; but I still think that they could have waited a little longer to reboot it. But still...really good movie. :D

Cold Showers, Joint Custody, Fast Six, & Tonight

So here's to another boring post...about my boring life :) 


Buttttt maybe, the stuff that I'm about talk about won't be as boring :) 


Cold Showers





Gr..I'm definitely a warm/hot water person. I just stand in there and it feels sooo good...like I don't even wanna get out of the shower. But then...when I do end up coming out, I notice my skin is all red...and especially in the winter, the showers contribute to my dry skin.

But from what I've kinda researched, people say it's best to alternate between hot and cold water throughout your shower. 





^^^ I just had to...this picture looked so beautiful..


But always alternating in the shower makes me feel like the shower is a chore. I like it when showers feel like therapy time...you know...just chill and relax...rather than always remembering to change from hot to cold, cold to hot.


So here's what might work:


-When you hop in the shower, just shower in warm water for about 5 minutes. This will get your pores open, so it'll be better and easier to clean oil and dirt.


-Then change it to cold. (This will take time and practice to get used to it)

So, you've probably known the "scientific" pros of cold showers...but here's my personal opinion. 


I will tell you...cold showers DO take time to get used to. But imma tell you...it feels good. You don't have to start out with an immediate ice cold shower. Try building yourself there. Overtime, keep changing it more and more to the cold...and before you know it...you'll be showering in cold water without any trouble.


I will admit it...cold showers really do make me feel more fresher. like more clean...refreshed, rejuvenated. I don't know why...but it just does. I feel more awake..and more alert. And I actually tried to see what it would be like to shower in warm water (see if I thought it would be better). And...I hated the warm water. Like I felt it was irritating my skin a little bit...and I felt kinda suffocated in it. 


The cold water .. compared to the warm one, felt so much more refreshed...pure...just something about it. It definitely wakes you up in the mornings...haha, and probably does better for my skin too! 




Joint Custody


Ayee(: You know it. Common Law was finally on last night..and the episode was spectacular. It was soooo fucking cute to see Wes and Travis like mommy and daddy. 

And this boy was barking at Travis while he was trying to get laid. Haha....baby doesn't approve when daddy cheats on mommy. haha cute (: 

One unexpected turn was seeing Wes kind of back with Alex. Like not like "married" or "in love" again...but the writers chose to bring Alex back .GR. I was shipping wes and travis so hard. 

BUT...Travis always has fun, so I guess Wes also deserves something.

I mean, I like Alex. But I just hate her reason for divorcing Wes. Like really...just cause the man changed his occupation? Aren't you supposed to love each other for better or worse...till death do you apart? stuff like that? and you're divorcing him because he changed his job...


...But, I guess I kind of understand; you know...always being worried about your husband...because he's in the force..and he's always put in danger...I get that part...but aren't you supposed to support him through whatever?...i dunno...I'm not married or ever been in love...so I wouldn't know :P 

I mean, there might be another reason (or contributing reasons)...but I guess overall, I guess I like Alex. She's nice, open, and friendly. And she let Wes spend the night. So yeah(: 

Oh! And when Travis and Wes decided to give a "geography lesson" to those assholes. 

* AFRICA is NOT south of Los Angeles. There is some of the Carribean, Latin America, and South America. But no assholes, Africa is not south of L.A. dumb bitches. 

I wanted to fucking slap them...or kick them so hard when they said that shit to Travis...and I loved how the boys completely OWNED those motherfuckers. 


And that bitchass that tried to kill Hudson! Stupid ass. I'm soo glad that they fucked his plan and everything up. 

:') My babies are such a good team FEELINGSSSS ahhh haha

And it was damn cute when Wes and Hudson cuddled up at bed. SOOOOO CUTEEEE <3

And if that doesn't make you melt...then next week's episode is of Wes and Travis LIVING TOGETHER. AS ROOM MATES. OHHHHHHHHH!! My babies <3 cannot. wait.

Fast Six 

Yeahh, yeah yeahhh. For all you Fast and Furious fans out there...the film is coming out officially on summer 2013! Yeah..I might have been a little late....BUT...better late then never(:

I love the whole series sooo fucking much. It's like badass, romance, action...everything. I honestly think they should go until they get Fast and Furious 10 or something. I feel like the whole series is like a legacy..fucking legend right here. haha

ha, and I love Vin Diesel. Not just for his sexyness...that's just a bonus. But the guy actually works for what he's got. like he actually is a director, writer, among many other things. he's like a real passionate actor...not just a "I do movies" kind of. like he actually puts real time and effort into whatever he does. and in his interviews...gr...he just makes me melt...llooveee himmm <3 




And we're not done yet ! :) Michelle Rodriguez...(who plays Letty) is coming back! I'm insanely excited to see really what happened there...and what she's doing and how they meet again. :D yayy...Dom+Letty = insanely ship them so hard. beautiful couple <3
